Getting to Know You
In our initial consultation we will have the opportunity to find out more about you. We will listen to your journey to date, gather information about your past participation in physical activity and understand your expectations and plans for future fertility treatment.
We will also discuss with you how we will undertake your comprehensive nutritional analysis. Understanding energy balance, which is the balance between your activity and energy intake, is incredibly important to ensure you receive optimal guidance. We encourage couples to access this service together and there is no additional fee for a couple consultation.
Custom Exercise Prescription
The ideal exercise prescription improves egg and sperm quality and endometrium receptivity. You can increase pregnancy success by up to 200%!
Your tailored exercise prescription will be based on your activity and medical history, your fertility journey and be designed specifically for your current current stage of treatment. You will be able to start improving your chance of success in no time!
Your custom program designed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is added to your workout calendar which is accessible via our online exercise portal or The IVF Project app. Each workout can be logged as complete so you can track your progress.
Program updates will accommodate every treatment stage from preparation where you are not undergoing any treatment, to stimulation, and for fresh and frozen transfers. You always receive the optimal prescription!
The IVF Project app makes your exercise program easily accessible. You can follow your program complete with animated exercise demonstrations and instructions on The IVF Project app or via The IVF Project online exercise portal. You also have the option of printing out your program if you prefer.
Strength training is an essential component of improving your fertility. Don't worry if you have never done any strength training before or you don't have a gym membership - you can incorporate this training in your own home!
