Did you know you lose up to 8% of muscle mass per decade? And that with this you gain body fat?  If your body weight was 70 kg and you were 20% fat, in 10 years’ time you could have lost 4.5 kg of muscle and be 26% body fat – just through ageing!

Body composition (the balance between muscle mass and body fat) influences the chance of spontaneous conception and the outcome of assisted reproductive treatments so maintaining optimal body composition is a great way to improve your reproductive health.
